mixed feelings after my stay

delayed check-in pressured feeling
the modern room had a comfortable bed.
early check-in was requested. i was told my room wasn't ready at first. later, i learned it would not be ready for another 90 minutes. i felt pressured to take a different room on a lower floor. it was not ideal.

car service fruit basket synthetic pillow breakfast quality
i appreciated the complimentary car service available in the evening for nearby trips. the gym operated 24 hours a day and included a swimming pool and spa it was convenient. rooms were spacious and clean it was nice. a fruit basket and a birthday cake were delivered to the room it was a nice touch.
i had some issues with the pillows since they were synthetic instead of feather. this affected my sleep quality i could not sleep well. there was no kettle in the room and i could not make tea in the morning it was frustrating. the breakfast was disappointing the food was undercooked.

I really thought i would be basking in luxury. the spa was a joke. Changing seemed like squeezing into a closet. and the pool lighting? so bright it seemed like a department store not relaxing at all. then came the massages nearly £400 each only to discover the masseuses seemed as clueless as i am trying to assemble flat-pack furniture. service charge, spa ambience
